Born in Hiroshima.

After working as a Harley‐Davidson mechanic in Yokohama, began self-taught tattooing since 1995 with emphasis on developing an original Japanese-style based on traditional Japanese themes and subjects.

Established "YELLOW BLAZE TATTOO STUDIO".

Starting this year participated in TATTOO CONVENTIONS worldwide.

By museum invitation, held commentary of recent tattoo work along with tattoo demonstration at the San Francisco Asian Art Museum during the "MACHA" exhibition which theme was traditional tattoos in Japan.

Published Art-book "SHIGE" which includes many tattoo designs created up to this point, from State of Grace Inc. (USA).

8月

"BASARA" Exhibition by Contemporary Artist Tenmyouya Hisashi at Aoyama Spiral (Tokyo). During the opening reception with over 2000 guests, presented works of tattoo done on 12 individuals.

2 pieces of painting display at Joint Exhibition (ART OF TATTOOIST) Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse No.1 (Yokohama).

Held a two-day tattoo seminar at Brazil San Paolo TATTOO WEEK.

Painting and tattoo sketch display at group gala "Hitomakumi" produced by Contemporary Artist Tenmyouya Hisashi at TENGAI GALLERY (Naka Meguro). At the opening reception presented works of tattoo done on 3 individuals.

Held tattoo seminar for Bay Area Tattoo Convention "TATTOO THEORY AND THE TATTOOIST" at SFO HYATT REGENCY (San Francisco).

Participated in "-PERSEVERANCE- JAPANESE TATTOO TRADITION IN MODERN WORLD" Tattoo works photo exhibition at The Japanese American National Museum. During the opening reception presented works of tattoo done on 7 individuals. Held tattoo demonstration in the museum.

Venice (Italy) 3-day WORLDWIDE TATTOO CONFERENCE. Held a seminar "A JAPANESE WAY OF TATTOOING" with simultaneous interpretation in 4 languages.
